The word 'comics' written in red, stylized text.
Black and white comic strip featuring a naval scene with a ship, sailors, and a large wave. The sailors are fighting a storm or a wave, with speech bubbles saying "Houwen zo!" and "Ze zwemmen weg! Schieten nu!" The comic also has a close-up of a person's face with a determined look, and various panels showing the chaos on the water with ships and waves.

“Apenjager” is a story I wrote and drew in 2017, about a journalist that boards a ship of sailors hunting for “Aquatic Apes”.

If you understand Dutch, I uploaded the entire thing on Internet Archive.

(uploaded in spreads so I recommend going through it in “one page view” or just scrolling down).

A editorial illustration of a person with long hair and a beard, depicted in a stylized, sketchy manner, sitting with their arms around their knees on a textured, pink background.
Black and white comic strip with multiple panels. The first panel shows a child looking at a spoon on the floor. The second panel shows a close-up of a hand reaching for the spoon. The third panel shows a person crouching on the floor, and the fourth panel features a person stretching. There are several images of two women with different expressions, and some text in Dutch.

“Nooit Meer Doen” is the result of an existential crisis I had in 2016. A baby narrates a short story about the search for meaning in life and the potential next step for humans to explore.

If you understand Dutch, this story is also available on Internet Archive.

A surreal illustration of a giant, open mouth with sharp teeth, emerging from a distorted pink and purple landscape. Two small figures sit nearby in the foreground.
A comic strip illustrating a creature with a long, tongue-like body, and a large open mouth with sharp teeth. The text in some panels shows the creature sniffling, and one panel has a speech bubble with loud noise, ending with, 'EZRA!'

“De Pancreas van Andreas” is the first full comic I ever wrote, and I personally think it stands its ground as a real Power Comic.

If you understand Dutch, I uploaded the entire thing on Internet Archive.
