“SUMMER HITS” started as a funny album title and developed into a two year project across many art forms, and finally an exposition and a music show.
At the SUMMER HITS exhibition, visitors enter the world of ‘The Beekeeper’: a man who casts himself out of everyday society because he is convinced that the sun is drawing closer to earth.
The paintings depict his prophecy of an imagined community of people who, in harmony with nature, toughen themselves against this coming pain of the sun by inflicting even harder punches upon one another.
